1. What data does Ross Shugar collect?
Contact name, email address and phone number enabling me to liaise with you for bookings.
 
2. How is this data collected:
The  data is supplied by you when enquiring about a product or service by email, phone, online or by making a booking through the Paypal page of this website or by using my Paypal payment address. Data collected is specific to the type of transaction.
There is also an ‘add me to your mailing list’ option on the website.
When you attend a personal consultation you also fill in a form applicable to the service you are receiving. This involves giving your name, date of birth and signature outlining you have understood the terms and conditions and are over the age of consent. Phone numbers and email addresses only apply if you are happy to receive information updates.
When booking a phone or email reading through the website by Paypal, you may also be asked to read through any terms and conditions before proceeding.
 
3.Why do I collect this data:
Data collected enables me to liaise with you for bookings and appointment reminders.  It is also transaction specific.  For a phone reading I need a number to call you on unless you are calling me. For an email reading, an email address to send it to. A date of birth supplies astrological sun sign information as well as showing you are over the legal age of consent for a consultation. A photograph supplies additional verification.
If you choose to be added to my general mailing list, you may also receive occasional marketing information and updates on my products and services. 
 
4.Do I share this data:
Your data is not shared or sold to any outside individuals. 
 
5.Using your data for marketing purposes:
I sometimes send out information updates by email, phone and social media. Any mailings will have an opt in or out option for you to update any preferences. The data is not shared to other people.
 
6.)How is your data kept secure:
Paypal has a security setting and features that protect user data whilst ensuring ease of access. The website is hosted by Wix.com. Ross Shugar only connects to secure servers to provide access to required information and updates linked devices when information is changed, added or deleted.
 
Possession are as follows: Wix.com web-based database;  mobile device-finger Pin Security with Wix secure login plus; Lenovo Desktop Password security for authentication; AVG Virus Protection; Paypal financial transaction history is used for end of tax year purposes.
 
7.)How long do I retain your data?
For as long as you remain active as a client; you choose to opt out of further communications or for 7 years for accountancy purposes as a financial & not personal record. 
 
8.)Requesting a copy of the data I hold:
You may request a copy of the data we currently hold on file for you. We are legally required to provide this to you free of charge and within one month of the original request.
 
9.)Requesting I delete all the information I hold:
If you would like all the information deleted that we have on file of you we are legally required to do so should you request it.
